All Things Must Come To An End - Closing Night
Sadly we have come to the end of the road. We just closed our production of The Glass Menagerie. First I send my love to my cast mates Logan, Lauren, and Amy. They were incandescent and truly brought the play to life. Then to our stage manager Jessica who got us through and our director Peppy for getting us to the best place we could be.
I am forever grateful for this show and this process and I will definitely be returning to Mill Mountain, it is a wonderful place. Ginger, the artistic director, radiates positive energy and that infuses everyone who works for her.
I don't know if I have full internalized my experience here but I will close with an anecdote.
I don't enter till Act II. At the beginning of the act Logan gives his monologue setting up the events and then comes off-stage to wait with me while the Amy and Lauren did a scene together. Every night during the Jonquills monologue we would just sit and watch and marvel and how good Amy was. That was all, it was just a lovely moment of appreciation of our fellow actor's work.
Till the next one. #SeeYouAtMillMountain
